V The High Priest

The tarot is a deck of 78 cards, and the earliest versions date from the Middle Ages. Over the years, people have been creating their own versions. Here's mine.

V The High Priest forms a pair with II The High Priestess. While the High Priestess is a keeper of wisdom, the High Priest is a teacher. One of his symbols is the five-pointed star, symbolising spirit ruling the elements. In many ways the High Priest is what we should aspire to, teaching by example rather than by words.
