The tarot is a deck of 78 cards, and the earliest versions date from the Middle Ages. Over the years, people have been creating their own versions. Here's mine.
In most tarot decks the fool is shown as a dishevelled young man unknowingly walking towards an abyss, a knapsack over his shoulder and a dog tugging at his clothes, trying to keep him from falling in.
The fool, in this card, is the seeker setting out on a spiritual quest. This card shows the world from his perspective. To proceed on the path he's taking requires a leap of faith.
