The last framed version. I liked the way it looked, but I was getting fed up with the frames.
Quite a lot of traffic was coming in through search engines, that linked directly to my content pages. I had a frameset for every content page. In each content page, I had a bit of Javascript that placed it in the correct frameset when linked to directly. On each content page I also had a text link doing the same thing in case the Javascript didn't work. I liked the navigation benefits of frames and couldn't use server side includes, but in the end it became too much of a hassle.
In this version I experimented with CSS for the first time, and I started cleaning up and validating my code.
On this page Transitional HTML 4.01 and CSS 1 are used. If you're seeing this text you either have CSS switched off in your browser, or you're using a browser that can't handle CSS. If you're using an older browser version, you might want to consider upgrading.
